Hi, I’m Albert Michael Greenhouse, creator of ORKY the Purple Fox.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and now proudly call Los Angeles, California, home.

As a child, one of my favorite memories was visiting the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. During the holiday season, New York was filled with joy, generosity, and kindness. Families came together, people donated to charities, and everyone seemed to care a little more.

Even as a young boy, I often asked myself:

Why do we show so much kindness only during the holidays? Why can’t we care for one another all year long?

That question stayed with me throughout my life.
Years later, it inspired me to create ORKY the Purple Fox—a character whose mission is to teach children kindness, respect, friendship, empathy, and confidence every day of the year.

My dream is to inspire children to celebrate who they are, treat others with compassion, and grow into caring, confident adults.
